Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Twine. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Twine. By using the app, you confirm that you are 18 or older and that the information in your profile is truthful.

Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. One account per person. You may not impersonate someone else or misrepresent your affiliation with any company.

Acceptable use

Twine is for genuine professional networking between founders and builders. You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
Post content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or misleading;
Spam, advertise unrelated services, or solicit users off-platform in bad faith;
Scrape, copy, or collect other users' information;
Attempt to bypass app limits, security measures, or subscription features.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Subscriptions

Twine offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (Twine+ and TwineX) purchased through your Apple ID.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods; refund requests are handled by Apple under their policies.
Prices and features may change; we'll notify you of material changes before they affect an active subscription.

Your content

You own the content you post. By posting it, you grant Twine a license to host, display, and distribute it within the app so the service can function (for example, showing your profile to other users). This license ends when you delete your content or account, except where content has already been shared with your matches (e.g. messages you sent).

Termination

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the community.

Disclaimers

Twine is provided "as is." We don't vet, endorse, or guarantee any user, match, or business outcome. You're responsible for your own decisions, including any business relationship you form through the app — do your own diligence before working with anyone.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Twine is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are material, we'll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
